Winside turbine is totally silent because the rotation speed of the vanes never exceeds the wind speed. Because of this the turbine can be placed in the middle of residential areas.

EFFICIENT

The efficiency is based on the turbines ability to take advantage of  low wind speeds (even under 3 m/s). Depending on the size of the turbine it can produce energy in as low winds as 1 m/s.

Windside turbines don’t need to be stopped during storms like propeller type turbines. Windside can be left rotating and allow it to convert these high winds into energy.

Due to the unique vane construction Windside wind turbines are able to utilize wind from all directions. Unlike the conventional propeller type turbines, that are constantly repositioning themselves towards the wind, Windside Spiral Vanes always reach the wind at the right angle and therefore Windside can utilize any gust of wind any direction. 

Because of these three facts, Windside wind turbines produce energy minimum 50 % more than the traditional turbines. This has a huge impact on the annual production.

Windside turbines require minimum maintenance. There is no gear box or adjustment mechanics that are sensitive to failure. The only service needed is the lubrication of the bearings. Using automatic lubrication system the turbine can be left alone for several years.
